A child’s brave act and plea for help have likely saved the life of a tiny kitten. This week, a woman in western Washington was jogging down an alleyway when she saw a box; instead of passing it by, her intuition told her to stop and open it. When she did, she was stunned to find a kitten and note inside.
MEOW Cat Rescue posted on its Facebook page today: “When she looked inside, she found the little fluffy being. A tiny and perfect kitten, at the mercy of whomever found the box.” The little orange-and-white kitten stared up at her would-be rescuer, accompanied by a note that stated that the kitten was being mistreated and needed help.
The note said: “My mommy’s boyfriend is mean to me. desperet for loving home.” The tiny, fluffy kitten stared up at the woman who scooped her up, box and all, and headed home to help the kitten. After a veterinary consult, it was revealed that the kitten was thin, but otherwise healthy. The woman brought the kitten in to MEOW Cat Rescue, which was happy to help.
