CNN “Fact Checker” Lies About Hillary’s Plan to Flood US With Refugees From Radical Countries

Foreman

Alleged journalist Tom Foreman lied through his teeth in order to call a claim Donald Trump made as false.  He claims that Donald Trump said that Hillary planned to let hundreds of thousands of Muslims from radical countries into the United States.  He made his case so well, you would have to find a “C” student in the second grade to spot his lies.  That means liberals will fall for it all day long.

Here’s the problem.  Foreman said that Trump was counting 65,000 Syrian refugees only and Clinton only said she would support a 550% increase to 65,000.  Even if we follow this narrow example, she will serve 4 years making that number 260,000 which would indeed be hundreds of thousands.  But it gets worse for Foreman.  You see, Trump did not just say Syrians.

Here are Trump’s actual words:

“Under her [Clinton’s] plan, we would admit hundreds of thousands of refugees from the most dangerous countries on Earth – with no way to screen who they are, what they are, what they believe, where they come from.”
Here is Tom Foreman’s take on what Trump said:
He was talking about this in reference to the Syria program in context of his speech. So let’s look at the reality there. President Obama has said he’d like to get 10,000 Syrian refugees in here by the end of September this year. Yes, Hillary Clinton has talked about increasing that substantially to 65,000 people being brought in in the near term. Still, that is not hundreds of thousands of people out there. And more importantly, she has said that none of these people should come in without the most stringent screening and vetting process. Now granted there are security analysts who say it’s very hard to have an infallible system and especially hard when you talk about Syria where the civil war makes checking the backgrounds of people very, very, difficult. That said if you look at his overall claim: hundreds of thousands, no checking whatsoever, that is simply false.
Foreman’s analysis is infantile for many reasons.  First of all, Trump alluded to all refugees, while Foreman only used Syrians.  Secondly, Trump was including all four years of a Clinton presidency.

– 374,000 refugees/asylees from the Middle East during her first term, based on DHS data.

– 420,000 refugees/asylees from the Muslim world during her first term.

– 560,000 permanent migrants from the Middle East during her first term.

– 730,000 permanent migrants from the Muslim world during her first term.

Foreman also made the ludicrous claim, disputed by FBI Director James Comey and many within the Obama caliphate, that Clinton has assured the country that refugees will be severely screened.  That doesn’t even include the fact that no US law enforcement group is allowed to read the social media accounts of refugees wanting into the United States.

One of the San Bernardino shooters entered the US as a refugee, but her social media account was chock full of radical Islamic threats and propaganda.

I rate Foreman’s “fact check” article 5 Pinocchios, 7 Obamas and four Hillarys.
