This past Sunday at 9 p.m. ET, Steve Hilton presented the Fox News program “The Next Revolution,” which was canceled on Thursday. Trey Gowdy’s Sunday Night in America will take its place.
Hilton is a British political pundit who worked as the British Prime Minister’s director of strategy from 2010 to 2012. Since 2017, he has presided over “The Next Revolution” on Fox News.
However, Hilton won’t be quitting the network and will continue to contribute.

According to Fox News, he will be stepping back from hosting in order to “focus on his new California nonpartisan policy organization launching next week.”
Hilton said in a video response to the cancellation:
“The Next Revolution will not be televised this Sunday or in the future. I do want to say a huge thank you who’ve supported us on The Next Revolution.”
“But you’ll still see a lot of me on Fox,” Hilton assured his viewers. “And you’ll see a lot more of me in California, where I’m going to be spending a lot of my energy now focused on a new organization that I’ll be launching next week which will be developing ideas and policies to move our state forward and to restore the California dream.”

Megan Albano, Senior Vice President of The Five & Weekend Programming at Fox News Channel, announced the network’s programming shakeup, saying, “We are excited to launch a new dynamic weekend line-up that will further solidify our position as the number one cable news network for more than two decades. We thank Steve Hilton for his show’s contributions and look forward to continuing to feature his valuable insights across our daytime and primetime programming.”

The Big Saturday/Sunday Show will now be called The Big Weekend Show, while Fox News Saturday Night, the network’s newest program, will debut at 10 p.m. ET.
Fox News fired host Tucker Carlson after reaching a $787.5 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems. Carlson was the most well-liked host on the network.

Since his departure, Carlson has started working with Elon Musk, the CEO of Twitter and Tesla, to produce a version of his Fox News show for Twitter, which Carlson revealed on May 9.
