David Cameron Former Prime Minister, Quits Parliament In A Huff

As many  politicians do, when losing power their true colors are exposed and they find the back door and leave. It does not matter in their mind why they leave, it is a matter of they did not get their way. So off into the sunset rides David Cameron, who resigned from his post as a Member of Parliament. We can assume it was not to his liking, sitting with all the other members. Not having his own seat at the head of the table, must have been burdensome.

According to Telegraph.co.uk:

And this is why flouncing out of Parliament in this way is so telling: it speaks to something fundamental about Mr Cameron’s character and his approach to politics: a lack of seriousness, the absence of real commitment. Yes, he wanted the job and yes he put the hours in, to the cost of his family. But he would never die in a ditch for his political beliefs, never shed blood and move mountains to hammer home his arguments. It was always enough to get by, to do just enough to get the top grade and do better than the rest.

To me a measure of a person in high places is not what he does during the good times, they pay people for what they do during the hard times. David Cameron has shown the kind of man he is , to basically quit without notice, on his country. Some legacy you forged for yourself David. Enjoy your retirement on the back of the taxpayer. You should get nothing for not finishing your term. What do you think?
