Democrats Demand Apology From Texas Official For His ‘Anti-Muslim’ Facebook Post – Get THIS Instead

Earlier this week, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller posted an allegedly anti-Muslim post to Facebook that sent Texas Democrats into a frenzy.

“It is unacceptable for Republican Sid Miller to be promoting such disgusting rhetoric,” Manny Garcia, deputy executive director of the Texas Democratic Party, complained in a statement.

“Sadly, this kind of racist, xenophobic hate speech qualifies you for higher office with Republicans’ Tea Party fringe base,” he whined.

Garcia also demanded that Miller apologize for the photo.

Here’s what they are so hot about:

The premise appeared to be that it might be beneficial for us as a nation to deal with radical Islam in the same way we dealt with the Japanese.

If Democrats thought Miller was about too apologize, they had another thing coming — he refused.

And in fact he turned it back against them:

Miller said that Democrats should be demanding apologies from the “Death to America“-chanting leaders of Iran, as well as President Barack Hussein Obama, who just signed a horrible nuclear deal with the Islamic republic.

“We think those are all issues that deserve an apology and are much more serious than a thought-provoking Facebook post,” he said.

Looks like someone is taking lessons from Donald Trump — never back down.

Interestingly, Miller’s special assistant Luke Bullock claimed that the post wasn’t even shared by his boss, who is currently on a trip to China, but rather by someone in his office.

But even though he didn’t post it, Miller would still not apologize.

Regardless of who posted the image, it appears that it was meant to provoke thought about the level of America’s commitment to the war against the threat of radical Islam and not actually insinuate that we should bomb the Middle East to smithereens.

UPDATE: Looks like Miller is now getting threats over the post:

KXAN-TV is reporting tonight that:

Texas officials are now “monitoring threats being made to Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller after a post he made on Facebook regarding the Muslim population.”
