Jesus is the reason for the Christmas season and Donald Trump may be the vehicle that frees Christians from Obama’s and liberals’ anti ‘Merry Christmas’ political correctness prison. Earlier in the year the now president-elect assured the audience at Liberty University, that if elected department stores would once again feature signs reading “Merry Christmas” rather than “Happy Holidays.” Millions of Christians have been waiting for this and it is apparent that the soon to be president is a man of his word that the Christian faithful will be proud of.
What does full restoration of Christian faith and principles mean to the average American family or person in the nation’s heartland when for eight years the Obama administration marginalized Christianity? The easy answer is like President-Elect Trump campaign promise to ‘Make America Great Again’ he has also included an iron clad guarantee to defend the nation’s Christian heritage.
As recently as September’s Values Voters Summit GOP presidential candidate Trump promised, “In “a Trump administration, our Christian heritage will be cherished, protected, defended like you’ve never seen before.”
Just consider the ramifications of a Christmas season where there will be nativity scenes in the public square and Christmas songs being sung in schools, at public events and at offices without being shamed. During the Obama era Christianity was constantly under attack and Hillary Clinton, if elected would have dealt a near fatal blow to silencing Christianity.
The Bible has been part of the institutional foundation of America, even before the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution. Yet, the mainstream media, liberal Hollywood elites and even many liberal judges have worked as if possessed by Satan to strip Americans of Christianity by demonizing their beliefs, principles, values and the Bible.
Far too many Americans were raising their children in a nation where the president issued executive orders and promulgated regulations that sought to criminalize Christianity whether it was in a school, military academy, public event or even in churches. That is not the America that the nation’s founders envisioned it would become.
Judi Lake, Executive Director of American Christian Civil Rights Movement stressed, that “A President Trump will not only work to restore America’s Christian values that have made the nation the envy of the Christian world, but he will nominate federal judges who will also protect the Christian faith.”
Melanie Tipton, an award-winning journalist and Executive Producer of the upcoming 2017 Christian film When Angels Weep: Rings of Faith & Fire strongly agrees with Lake and insists that “President-elect Trump brought a since of firmness that American Christians supported because they grew tired of being targeted at home and abroad.”
Tipton emphasized that America’s religious faithful can insure that Christians will have the wonderful opportunity to share their Merry Christmas and God’s love and be a witness for Jesus by visiting her Jesus Gift Store. Many of the store’s proceeds are targeted to specifically assist Christian organizations and church efforts to defend Christianity in America this Christmas season and throughout the year. The Jesus Gift Store was established to glorify Jesus Christ, while raising awareness to STOP CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION.
The long Obama and liberal siege against Christianity may be finally over. Christians had been persecuted from the oval office to the town council. President-elect Trump offered Christians a beacon of light in September when he declared that political leaders have “abandoned” people of faith in America. And he said that today’s “media culture often mocks and demeans people of faith.” The incoming president was greeted November 8 with millions of the Christian faithful who feel he will honor his pledge to defend and protect Christianity.
This Christmas season ‘Merry Christmas’ will be a proud gift that Americans can share over and over again with each other thanks to over sixty million Americans who elected a president who would restore Biblical Christian correctness to the season and to its families, children and the faithful.
