DNC Planners Anger Gays…Who’s Next, the Terrorists?
Gay delegates and attendees at the Democratic National Convention are as angry as your average Bernie supporter. It seems that when they lined up food vendors, the allowed one in whose food is so good but is sternly opposed by gays, Chick-Fil-A. You can buy their sandwiches both inside and outside the convention venue. Several years ago, Chick-Fil-A’s CEO Dan Cathy made his opinion on gays and gay marriage known and to this day the franchise is shunned by all LGBT organizations in America.
This has not been a good year for the democrats. They have alienated the Bernie supporters, angered the gays and are left with just the commies and the terrorists as staunch supporters. You have to ask yourself, does anyone here have a clue? I laugh now as I remember the hype from the lamestream press before the conventions. The story they were peddling was the disunity of the republican party and how the protests would turn violent. The democrats on the other hand were going to be unified and strong. That didn’t happen. The only question is whether Trump will get a bigger bump from the republican convention than he gets from the democratic one.
Joe Sacco, a Democratic delegate from Nevada who supports Senator Bernie Sanders and attended the LGBT caucus said the people are not happy about the decision to allow Chick-Fil-A in.
From The Daily Caller:
“People were not happy about it, but it wasn’t just gay people who were not happy about it,” Sacco told The DCNF. “It was gay people and straight people and our allies, and the workers, in fact, also understood when we took a few moments to explain why we don’t support Chick-Fil-A.”
Sonya Lewis, an openly lesbian delegate seen holding a pro-LGBT sign, told TheDCNF she was unhappy with Chick-Fil-A being served.
“The owner is homophobic,” Lewis told TheDCNF. “I don’t buy Chick Fil A on purpose.”
It is likely that Chick-Fil-A has a contract with the arena and democrats had no say in the matter. On the other hand, you would think someone would have checked.
