People aren’t the only ones who enjoy winter sports. Labradors do too! This canine shows you how its done, to the amazement of family and friends.
Dogs take the art of self-entertainment to the next level and most of them have awesome abilities for finding amusement in the simplest of things. They can create a fun game out of just about anything they come across whether it’s a random stick, old tennis ball, or a garden hose. They’re naturally curious and playful by nature, which makes them ideal animal companions. Anyone who shares a home with a dog can expect to have a lot of fun and amusement with them. You never really know what they’re going to do next, especially when you’re hanging out with them outside where they have lots of room to run around freely and do whatever their doggy hearts desire.

Rafi, the adorable Black Labrador in this video, is living proof of how easy and effortless it is for a dog to entertain both his human companions and himself. The energetic animal found a unique way to make his way down a snow covered hill. Instead of using any of the sleds or contraptions that people rely on he uses his body to slide down the gently sloping hill. To get some momentum he simply runs a short distance as best he can on the icy hill and then plops his body down onto the side. He vigorously wiggles his body all around to help move himself along, which makes him appear to be running sideways. Once Rafi reaches the bottom of the hill he jumps back up onto all four paws and runs straight back up the hill to do it all over again! He just can’t get enough of his action sledding game.
In the background Rafi’s owners can be heard cheering him on with delight. They are clearly just as into it as he is and urge him to “do it again Raf!” Check out the video to see how great of a time they all had and how much fun it looks. The next time it snows try getting your dog to go body sledding. It’s a great way to keep dogs entertained and it’s a surefire way to tire them out after being cooped up in the house after a storm.
