There has been a lot of speculation on who leaked Christine Ford’s letter to the press. Now, President Trump has revealed who he believes the culprit is. President Trump also had some choice words for the following people, “You saw that group. [Richard] Blumenthal, who falsified his service in Vietnam, that terrible mayor of Newark, New Jersey, Cory Booker, and Dianne Feinstein who in my opinion leaked the papers.” Then he named his suspect , Dianne Feinstein. She is the logical choice since only she and Ford had copies and Ford did not want to come forward, which the leak forced her to do.
“It was terrible what they did to (Kavanaugh), very unfair,” Trump continued. “So I did stick with him and I am very happy I did.”
The president went on to explain that even though there was pressure to throw Kavanaugh under the bus and replace him with another nominee, Trump believed that staying the course was the right decision.
“It wouldn’t have been fair to him,” Trump said about withdrawing the embattled nominee.
“What the Democrats did was disgraceful. Things that came out of the wind. There was no corroboration,” he pointed out.
“This is a high-quality, brilliant man who will be a phenomenal Supreme Court justice. This is a very, very outstanding person with an incredible family and it would have been very unfair,” the president continued.
69% said that the way that the Democrats handled the confirmation process was a national shame in a recent poll.
