After denying she was interested in the vice presidency all year long, Elizabeth “”Sitting BullS*^t” Warren, now says she will consent to run. She’s been hedging her bets all year, probably because she would have preferred to run with Bernie Sanders, who is ideologically her equal, but Hillary was her second choice. That’s why she chose not to endorse anyone for the democratic nomination until it was locked up. Her chances may not be nearly as good as many democrats wish that they were.
Hillary could be angry that Warren made her wait all this time before she endorsed her, but more importantly, Warren, as bad as she is, is more popular that Clinton and would overshadow her. It would not be long before people began suggesting that she be on the top of the ticket, especially if Hillary is indicted or the people turn against her even if she isn’t.
There is also the question about whether voters would accept two women on the ticket. Hillary could do just what Obama did and that’s to add life insurance to her ticket. No one wanted to assassinate Obama because that would make Crazy Joe president. In fact, Hillary could go with Biden herself. It would provide her with insurance and also show a continuing of the Obama presidency. But, her best option is to take on Bernie Sanders. It’s the only way to satisfy the Bernie maniacs. But maybe not, because the republicans would continually throw Bernie’s words in her face all election season.
Hillary’s real worry isn’t who is on the bottom of her ticket, her really big worry is who is on top of it.
