Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson is the man behind the fake Trump dossier. He also worked as an agent for a foreign government without registering as such as required by law. If Russia wanted Trump to win so badly, why were they working with a man trying to help Hillary win by composing a fake dossier? Make any sense to you? Let me take it a step farther for you. Why would they want Trump to win when they already owned Hillary, having given the Clinton Foundation 145 million dollars for her help in getting them 20% of all uranium mined in the United States and paying Bill Clinton half a million dollars for a 20 minute speech?
From The New York Times:
Beyond mines in Kazakhstan that are among the most lucrative in the world, the sale gave the Russians control of one-fifth of all uranium production capacity in the United States. Since uranium is considered a strategic asset, with implications for national security, the deal had to be approved by a committee composed of representatives from a number of United States government agencies. Among the agencies that eventually signed off was the State Department, then headed by Mr. Clinton’s wife, Hillary Rodham Clinton.
As the Russians gradually assumed control of Uranium One in three separate transactions from 2009 to 2013, Canadian records show, a flow of cash made its way to the Clinton Foundation. Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million. Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well.
And shortly after the Russians announced their intention to acquire a majority stake in Uranium One, Mr. Clinton received $500,000 for a Moscow speech from a Russian investment bank with links to the Kremlin that was promoting Uranium One stock.
Now, thanks to Sen Grassley, we are finding out the man who heads the company who put together the Trump Dossier was intentionally spreading false information to cover up torture practices of the Russian government and working with Rinat Akhmetshin, a Washington, D.C.-based operative who is believed to be a former Russian counter-intelligence agent.
“Presumably, such awareness would have informed the FBI’s evaluation of the dossier’s credibility,” writes Grassley.
“It is highly troubling that Fusion GPS appears to have been working with someone with ties to Russian intelligence — let alone someone alleged to have conducted political disinformation campaigns — as part of a pro-Russia lobbying effort while also simultaneously overseeing the creation of the Trump/Russia dossier,” writes Grassley.
Akhmetshin hired Simpson and Fusion GPS last year to work on a campaign to roll back the Magnitsky Act, a law passed in 2012 which imposed sanctions against a handful of Russian criminals accused of human rights violations.
it must be repeated that as someone working on behalf of a foreign government, Simpson is required by law to register as such and he didn’t. Was his work on the Trump dossier part of his disinformation campaign on behalf of Russia?
