Facebook is cracking down and getting stricter on its gun control policy. The new policy prohibits private individuals from selling or advertising guns on its site. Licensed gun retailers are still allowed to advertise on the social media site, they just cannot accept orders or sale transactions online. Announced Friday, the new policy has received praise from a gun control group that has been working to stop sales on facebook. Everytown for Gun Safety has stated that in some cases, convicted felons were able to buy guns through unlicensed sellers on facebook.
