Father Drives Onto School Property To Run Kids Over For Fight With Daughter

(Scroll down for video) An angry father was caught on video, attempting to run over a group of kids.  56-year-old Roy Williams Jr., of Illinois, said that he was only defending his 13-year-old daughter when he drove over a curb, onto a lawn and chased a group of students with his truck outside their school.

The incident, which was captured on video, shows Williams driving a Dodge Durango on the grass about 100 yards as children scattered and shouted near Nelson Elementary School in Rockford. Williams told police that he confronted the group of teenagers after they were involved in a fight with his daughter, police said.

He allegedly threatened two 14-year-old girls while using a cane, and when they ran away, he got into his truck and drove towards them.  A group of about 12 children were forced to flee from Williams, according to the video. A teenager recorded the incident and handed the evidence over to police.

Williams was arrested and is facing 12 counts of aggravated assault with a vehicle, aggravated assault in public, assault, and reckless driving. He was taken to the Winnebago County Jail, and his bail was set at $15,000.
