An Islamic terrorist recruiter was nabbed by the FBI. And this just goes to show you that it can happen anywhere. No one, no place is safe from the infiltration of these dangerous people.
A 20-year-old man from Minnesota — a recruiter for radical Islamic terror group ISIS — was arrested by the FBI and is being charged with providing the organization with material support.
Check out the details below.
The FBI is putting another arrest on the books with the apprehension of 20-year-old Abdirizak Warsame.
Warsame, a Somali in Minnesota, was was trying to recruit for the terrorist organization and provide financial means for people who were intent on joining ISIS to travel to Syria.
MPR News reports:
Abdirizak Mohamed Warsame, 20, of Eagan, was arrested Wednesday evening. Prosecutors say Warsame encouraged the planned departures of several friends who have since been charged in the massive terrorism case — and at one point, was named their leader, according to a court document filed Wednesday.
Last year, nine people close to Warsame were arrested for attempting to join ISIS. It would have been ten, but one, Abdi Nur, allegedly made it to Syria.
After it was revealed the Nur most likely joined ISIS in Syria, Warsame was interviewed by the New York Times.
He told the Times:
“Word that he was missing was a blow to the large Somali community. It went out like wildfire that he left, and nobody knew he was gone. I had no clue.”
If you think that’s messed up, wait until you find out where he worked:
Yes, that’s right. Warsame worked in security.
Here’s a pic of Warsame throwing up the ISIS hand sign:
He also posted this creepy rap on YouTube:
Minnesota has, unfortunately, become a hotbed for ISIS recruiting efforts thanks in large part to the large Somali population located there.
How many more arrests need to be made before the president comes out and says we have a serious threat to our security from radical Islam, right here, on our own soil?
Oh, that’s right. To say such a thing goes against the progressive agenda. How silly of me.
Wiping out ISIS is a course of action that is long overdue, don’t you think?
