Florida Business RAIDED By DOZENS Of Biden’s IRS Agents…

Imagine scores of IRS agents in tactical gear conducting a commercial raid in Florida instead of the police.

Is this the conventional picture of a tax collector that comes to mind?

It’s enough to make people wonder what the IRS is really responsible for and raise eyebrows.

Democrats are frequently painted as supporters of gun control.

Yet here we have a federal organization run by Joe Biden that is supposedly far distant from military or law enforcement missions and armed.

This seems to be in direct opposition to the Democrats’ normal rhetoric.

The fact that IRS agents, whose main responsibility is to look into cases of fraud and tax evasion, are allowed to carry pistols and wear tactical gear suggests that their responsibilities may go beyond what is legally required.

How risky could a tax investigation be to require such precautions?

Additionally, the sheer display of power highlights worries about the out-of-control growth of government spending and potential abuse of funding increases for the IRS.

This episode highlights Republican criticisms of increasing IRS funding in the past, which they made out of concern that it may result in aggressive tax enforcement that targets regular Americans.

The Epoch Times has more details on this terrifying ordeal:

Dozens of armed IRS agents recently raided a Florida business, with witnesses telling a local news outlet that they were stunned by the show of force by the tax agency.

At least 25 to 30 IRS agents in tactical gear executed a search warrant at a business in Stuart, Florida, last week, according to Fox 29.

“It was like a scene from a movie,” an unnamed witness told the outlet. “They had the big gear, tactical gear because they probably didn’t know what they were walking into.”

An IRS spokesperson confirmed to The Epoch Times in an emailed statement that the agents were from the IRS Criminal Investigations (IRS-CI) unit, a division whose agents investigate crimes like fraud and tax evasion.

The agents, who are authorized to carry guns as their work can be dangerous, were at the location on “official business,” the spokesperson added.

While details remain scant on the raid, the show of force by IRS agents was noteworthy as it recalled Republican criticism of a funding boost to the agency amid concerns that it would be used to hire more tax enforcers who would target ordinary Americans.

It is obvious that this is a shocking and unheard-of show of force.

What’s worse is that the raid wasn’t even conducted by the FBI or the local police.

It was the IRS, and what possible justification could the IRS have for conducting an armed raid?

According to one eyewitness, it seemed like something from a movie.

However, this wasn’t a big-budget movie; rather, it was a reality that has many people questioning if the IRS’s use of force was necessary or an unnerving overreach.

The witnesses expressed their confusion as law enforcement personnel with “Police IRS Criminal Investigation” emblazoned on their clothing resumed their work.

Nothing strange or sinister has ever been observed before; simply regular employees going about their daily business.

Local news affiliate Fox 29 has more details:

Witnesses said 20-30 undercover cars started pulling into the location around 9:30 in the morning. “It was like a scene from a movie, it was like what! Then they all started coming out. They had the big gear, tactical gear because they probably didn’t know what they were walking into,” said a witness who didn’t want to be identified.

“They were taking boxes in, filling them up and bringing them out, all kinds of big backpacks,” the witness said.

WFLX arrived around 5 p.m. and saw law enforcement officers with shirts that read “Police IRS Criminal Investigation,” coming in and out of a door with the markings of “Tee Off Temps” and “Elite Payroll Solutions.

“Have you ever noticed anything weird or suspicious happening?” Lopez said.

“Never, it’s just the workers. You see them in the morning but there’s nobody coming and going in that place,” the witness said.

We must question ourselves: Is the IRS moving toward an enforcement function that is uncomfortably similar to a police operation as a result of this unforeseen incident?
