This week we had the “pleasure” to witness “Go Topless Day” and I am wondering how this event will shape the world’s current events. This is an event that is rooted in the misguided belief that women are somehow suffering from inequality. Though, I am wondering how this particular stunt will help women in society or gain the equality they are looking for. Women of means do not seem to be in a hurry to walk the streets topless. Women of stature do not seem to be in need to walk the streets exposed. But for some reason, there are some needing me to look at flesh losing a battle with gravity.
Most women of means and stature do not seem to be in need to walk the streets exposed. However, for some reason, there are women out there who want everyone to look at flesh losing a battle with gravity.
Women across the US have taken to the streets bare chested on Go Topless Day – to promote gender equality. The event – which also attracted crowds of men taking photographs – is celebrated each year on the Sunday closest to Women’s Equality Day, marking the day American women earned the right to vote.
A group of about 50 women as well as men were walking topless in the oceanside Los Angeles neighborhood of Venice, behind a giant, inflatable pink breast that had the phrase ‘equal topless rights’ written on it.
We as a society are seeming to stretch to the lowest common denominator. Women seem to have such little regard for themselves today that they feel the need to walk the streets as such. In my thoughts, these women put themselves in the back of the line when it comes to class. Don’t get me wrong I find beauty in a woman’s body, it is the most beautiful of both, but this takes it to the level of trashy.
Don’t get me wrong I find beauty in a woman’s body, it is beautiful, but this takes it to the level of trashy. The mystery is now gone, all because of a few rebellious women want to be noticed by their breasts.
What do you think?
