This is all you need to hear, Republicans trust Paul Ryan over Donald Trump. The Democrats, however, prefer just the opposite. Let that sink in.

Paul Ryan has led a not-so-secret shadow campaign for Hillary Clinton all year long.
The Hill reported:

A majority of Republican voters in a NBC/Survey Monkey poll released Tuesday says they would trust presidential nominee Donald Trump to lead the GOP over Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.).

The survey shows that 63 percent of Republican and Republican-leaning voters say they trust Trump more than Ryan to lead the party, while 34 percent put their trust in the Speaker.

Ryan, however, is the more trusted picked among respondents from all party affiliations. Sixty percent of likely voters trust him more than Trump to lead the GOP, while just 31 percent trust Trump over Ryan.

Further, 74 percent of likely voters believe that the Republican Party is divided and will still be divided in November.

Among Republicans, 57 percent think their party will still be divided in November, while 35 percent think it will be united by then.

The results are based on a sample of 32,225 likely voters surveyed from Oct. 17-23. The poll has an error estimate of 1 percentage point.

That poll shows Democrat Hillary Clinton with a 5-point lead over Trump in the race for the White House, 46 to 41 percent.
