While Hillary Clinton was dissing some Trump supporters as a “basket of deplorables” at a New York fundraiser last week, Mike Pence was having none of it. The Republican vice presidential nominee turned the tables neatly on Ms. What Difference Does It Make? via Twitter and during a weekend speech.
Here’s Pence’s September 10 tweet:

Pence’s Saturday verbal comments may be even better. Speaking at the Values Voters Summit in Washington D.C., Pence says that regardless of what Hillary may think, Trump supporters aren’t a “basket” of anything. In fact, they are Americans who deserve respect.
What a concept.

Clinton has since tried to walk back her comments. Apparently a face omlette isn’t that appetizing, even for Kamp Klinton.
