When his wife, dance teacher and former Utah Jazz dancer, Amber Telford, started acting suspicious, he hired a private investigator to discover what she was really up to.
What the man found has since been enough evidence to throw the 33-year-old in jail. What did he find? The P.I. discovered the teacher having an illegal affair with one of her 17-year-old students. The minor involved in the affair was Telford’s student. Her dance studio has since been shut down.
Not only was she a married woman, Telford is a mother of three. She bought the teenager she was sleeping with gifts and even paid for his trip to Disneyland.
Her husband was shocked and disgusted that she had the affair with the minor for more than 5 months.
“She started by flirting with [the student] and eventually began a sexual relationship with him that occurred at her home, her mother’s home and also in a vehicle belonging to Amber,” the police report stated.
Reportedly the two also engaged in sexual intercourse inside a local church.
Although the former dance dancer was charged with seven counts of unlawful sex with a minor, she pled guilty reducing her charges to just one.
