Liberals, such as President Barack Obama, contend that our nation’s high rate of gun murder and other violence each year is reason enough for more strict gun control. But conservatives know better. Independent Journal’s Kyle Becker recently tweeted a graph showing a “proportional chart of nations with highest firearms murder rate.” Becker asked viewers to “try to find the United States,” because — as you can see in the graph — America’s murder rate is so small compared to other countries that it’s barely worth talking about.
That’s odd, liberals. I thought the argument was that because the U.S. has more gun owners and less strict gun control than other countries, our gun murder rate would surely dwarf that of other countries. Hmm. This isn’t the first time the liberal gun-control agenda has been shut down by cold, hard facts.
In 2015, the Texas A&M School of Public Health released a study suggesting no correlation between the number of concealed handgun licenses and crime rates, according to the Texas A&M Battalion. But, despite all evidence to the contrary, liberals continue to push the idea that lawful gun owners, led by the “evil” NRA, are the problem.

Hillary Clinton, leading candidate for the Democrat presidential nomination, even went so far as to advocate for a government confiscation of guns following the Oregon community college shooting in 2015.
