Hillary Clinton’s childhood home is proof she is misleading her supporters about her beginnings. In truth, her family was upper-middle class, and their wealth gave Hillary a good life, and an opportunity to attend Yale University. No one walking off the street can get into an Ivy League school without connections and of course, money. As most of us know, schools in New England are not cheap. The late 60’s brought on the liberal progressive, and a feminist movement in colleges which Clinton gravitated to.
Located at 235 N. Wisner St. in the affluent Chicago suburb of Park Ridge, the Clinton childhood home is a beautiful two-story house that her father paid for in full, in cash. He was the owner of a successful drapery business and did quite well.
Clinton was able to attend Wellesley College, a private women’s college in Massachusetts. She then went on to Yale, which, of course, all kids from working class families do. It was at Yale that Hillary met Bill Clinton. Hillary was raised a conservative Republican, but was radicalized in college and became a Democrat.
Hillary’s childhood home
I, being a few years younger than Mrs. Clinton remember those days of the Viet Nam war, and the rally’s and protests that went on. Being disillusioned as many others, when it came to all the issues, there was one thing I never thought to embrace, and that was radical socialism. That is where I parted ways with those that Hillary chose to embrace. Looking back at it now, I am glad I made the decision I did.”
