Justin Bellanco, 26, was arraigned in a Pittston, Penn. court this week, theWilkes-Barre Times Leader reports, after liking 22 of his ex-girlfriend’s photos and videos on her Facebook page, violating a restraining order.
Bellanco’s ex-girlfriend, April Holland, was granted a restraining order in July after Bellanco apparently threatened to shoot her in the kneecap and stalk her and her friends. According to the Citizens Voice, Bellanco told police he didn’t know liking photos on Facebook constituted a violation of the restraining order.
Holland went to Pittston City Hall Monday to speak with police about Bellanco liking the photos, and he was arrested near the building soon after. From the Times Leader:
As Holland left Pittston City Hall, she allegedly spotted Bellanco walking past, the complaint says.
Police stopped Ballanco and asked him where he was coming from to which he replied his house.
Police allege in the complaint Bellanco resides nowhere near city hall, which is about 100 yards from Holland’s residence.
