Would you think if Hillary Clinton continues to languish in the polls, The DNC would sit down with her and say, ” It is not working, what say you announce you are not physically capable of carrying on the campaign any longer and have to drop out?” Clinton would have what is left of any dignity she ever had and the Democrats can throw the “Hail Mary” and hope for the best. Not far fetched is it? But who would it be?
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 48% of Likely Democratic Voters believe Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, Clinton’s primary rival, should be their party’s nominee if health issues forced her out of the race. Twenty-two percent (22%) say Vice President Joe Biden should be the nominee, while only 14% opt for Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, the current Democratic vice presidential candidate. Nine percent (9%) of Democrats think it should be someone else.
Bernie Sanders is the furthest from Donald Trump philosophically and economically as anyone. This would be an interesting election process, that would put capitalism and socialism in the forefront. We then for sure would know which way this country is leaning. What do you think?
