If You See One of These Coat Hooks Call the Police Right Away [VIDEO]

The police have taken note of coat hooks all over the place and are now warning people to be on the look out for them.  If you do spot one of them, notify the authorities immediately.  These coat hooks are readily available on the internet for about twenty five dollars.  You will notice that on the top of these hooks, there is a small opening.  That’s because these hooks have a hidden camera and perverts are installing them in changing rooms and bathrooms.  In fact, police are informing citizens to beware because almost anything could contain a camera.

They are advertised as home security devices but they have a battery life of only two hours.  They are easy to install and the images can be downloaded onto your computer with ease.  Florida has found three of these devices in public bathrooms.

According to a Facebook post made by Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, all of the cameras had been models that can be purchased online as ‘home security devices.’

Common spots for hidden cameras are inside dressing rooms, hotel rooms, and public bathrooms, according to NBC.

Private investigator Carrie Kerskie told NBC: ‘Nowadays, with the advances in technology, all you need to do is insert a MicroSD card.
‘The battery life for these coat hooks, I looked it up, is two hours.

‘Then, you just take it out, pop it in the computer, and you have all your images,’ said Kerskie.

Police have issued a warning to stay away from hooks like this, and to report them if they see them in public restrooms and dressing rooms. Anyone can place the hook in a public restroom, then retrieve it and download the footage onto their PC
