An intruder was shot and a security guard was stabbed in the face during an encounter at a Malibu mansion of model Miranda Kerr, according to reports.
The unidentified man jumped a fence at the luxury property Friday morning and began fighting with the guard, Los Angeles County Sergeant James Braden told the Daily News.
He said that the intruder armed with a knife was shot three or four times in the face and body, but is expected to survive after being taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The security guard is also expected to survive.
A neighbor told KTLA that the hillside mansion is owned by Kerr, a 33-year-old Australian Victoria’s Secret Angel.
A request for comment to her representatives was not immediately returned.
The model and beauty products businesswoman also lives with her 5-year-old son Flynn, from a previous marriage to actor Orlando Bloom.
Kerr bought and moved to the property from New York with her son Flynn in 2014 after she split with Bloom, according to a Harper’s Bazaar profile of the eco-friendly abode.
