If there is one good thing that comes out of an Obama Vacation, (and I don’t mean the tax payers expense) is he is out of Washington D.C. and can’t cause any problems for three weeks. Left to be said, he will come back to Washington with an agenda to fill up the last three months. I hope the family has a wonderful time, while all the people that matter to him understand he is living the good life for all of them.
Obama arrived on the Massachusetts island of Martha’s Vineyard on Friday, a day earlier than originally scheduled. The President will enjoy a 17-day break with his wife, daughters Sasha and Malia, and dogs Bo and Sunny before he will battle with the Republican-controlled Congress over Iran, spending, and other issues in September, according to the Associated Press.
With the economy in the state it’s in, no growth, low rating in the world, trade deficit, to name a few, the Obama’s need to take a three week holiday on the backs of the american taxpayer. On the bright side, at least they are staying close to home. I’m happy for all those that appreciate the first minority family, and are resting comfortably knowing the Obama’s feel their pain.
