Funny how that all worked out, isn’t it? While it’s been a couple of weeks since we’ve heard how everything is Bush’s fault, one thing is for sure. There were no terror attacks on American soil, on his watch, post 911. Can’t say that about Obama. Here’s something else you can’t blame on Bush.

In a Fox News report, Megyn Kelly points out one warning President Bush gave Obama in 2007 that turned out to be prophetic.
It came at a time when America was deep in the Iraq War and Obama had certain ideas about what should happen. But before Bush left office, he described a different future. And he turned out to be right.
While liberals have been calling for America to leave the Middle East for over a decade, President Bush on July 12, 2007 issued one simple warning that proved to be prophetic today.
President Bush issued the following warning:
“I know some in Washington would like us to start leaving Iraq now. But to begin withdrawing before our commanders tell us we are ready would be dangerous.
“For Iraq, for the region, and for the United States.”
Bush then went on to explain what would happen if America tried to leave Iraq and the region.
“It would mean surrendering the future of Iraq to al-Qaeda. It means we would risk mass killings on a horrific scale. It would mean we would allow the terrorists to establish a safe haven in Iraq to replace the one they lost in Afghanistan.”
Bush then said that if America leaves the region, we would need to return at a later date to face an enemy with more weapons and influence than if we just finished the job now.
“It would mean increasing the probability that American troops would have to return at some later date to confront an enemy that is even more dangerous.”
It sounds like President Bush got this right and Obama has been wrong.
