Kim Jong-un is the closest person to reminding me of Caligula of old Roman times; sadly no one has put a sword to him yet. To think 2 ministers dozed off in a meeting and were executed by using anti-air craft guns. That’s incredible, lucky for Joe Biden he doesn’t hail from North Korea.
According to Independent.co.uk:
Kim has carried out a series of executions since taking power in 2011 after his father’s death as he puts his mark on the leadership of the isolated nuclear-armed nation. The most high profile was the killing three years ago of his uncle and one-time deputy Jang Song Thaek. He had about 50 officials executed in 2014 on charges ranging from graft to watching South Korean soap operas.
This would be a great opportunity for our universities, and colleges to take advantage of a real life study of Socialism verses Capitalism. I tend to think not though, considering the protests on campuses in the name of social justice. I honestly do not think the children will wise up until they walk out with their diploma in gender studies, and realize the real world is a little different. Kim is a good study of what a despot is, as he sits on a throne. Fear can be a good motivator to use when ruling the masses, as we have witnessed with Korea and this latest administration. What do you think?
