So how is that War on Drugs working out?
We have incarcerated millions of non-violent Americans. We have created ghetto millionaires and South American billionaires. We are spending huge resources on incarceration, law enforcement, and our judicial system, and in the process destroying the futures of otherwise productive citizens . We have created and emboldened murderous Mexican drug cartels. Juarez, Mexico (across the river from El Paso, Texas) is the most dangerous city on earth, not Baghdad or Benghazi.
So, let me ask that question again – how is that War on Drugs working out?
