LGBT Activists Fake Petition Signatures To Try To Shut Down North Carolina’s HB2 Bathroom Law

Many liberal and LGBT activists were up in arms and outraged following the recent passage of HB2 in North Carolina, a law which simply states that men should use the men’s bathroom and women the women’s bathroom.

In other words, common sense. But it has been denounced as horribly discriminatory to transgendered individuals that want to use the bathroom of the opposite gender that they identify with.

The angry activists have seen some success in rousing the support of liberal artists, celebrities, and politicians who have joined their perpetually offended movement, cancelling shows and helping to promote a petition displaying the allegedly widespread opposition to the law by North Carolinians.

There was just one problem with that, though, that being the boxes weren’t full of signature-bearing petitions as was clearly implied. Instead, only two of the boxes actually contained signed petitions, and the overwhelming majority of those signatures came from individuals out-of-state, in other words, most likely not all registered voters from North Carolina.

North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory noted the discrepancy in a post to social media which showed the actual amount of eligible and acceptable petitions, which was a far cry from what the activists had led everyone to believe.
