Two men have been arrested in connection with a Macon, Georgia shooting, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office (BSO). The source article says 12 people were injured.

BSO identified the suspects as 24-year-old David Vincent Pitts and 20-year-old Jaquez Bailey. According to BSO, Pitts was charged with 12 counts of aggravated assault and party to a crime, while Bailey was charged with 12 counts of aggravated assault.

WGXA: Pitts was charged in a 2023 Baymont Inn & Suites case

WGXA reported that Pitts was arrested in connection with a July 11, 2023 “double shooting” at the Baymont Inn & Suites that injured a 62-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man; both were later listed in stable condition. The source article says that on July 24, 2023, deputies identified Pitts after a search of the hotel turned up multiple firearms, including one reported stolen.
