Man Enter Gas Station Looking For Information Finds Much More

homelessman

Brian Eugene Hensley, Sr entered the office of the Exxon gas station in Post Falls, Idaho, trying to find out how much he had left on his food stamp card.  The woman takes his card and as she looked at the name, she broke out in tears.  She had seen the homeless man around town several times but it meant nothing to her until she had his card in her hands.  She cried out:

“You’re my biological father!  I’ve been searching for you for over 20 years.”

After 20 years of searching,  Shoshannah Hensley, probably thought she would never find her father and then for him to walk into her work seemed more like fate than anything else.  Her father was just as happy to see her.  They were separated when Shoshannah was very young and she didn’t even know what he would look like after twenty years.  Her father promises to remain in her life now, no matter what.

Brian did an interview with a local news station and he fought hard to hold back the tears.  He said that when you miss your child, you feel empty inside.  He had not seen his daughter since she was a toddler 20 years before in Sandpoint, Idaho, 50 miles away from where they were reunited.

It’s never too late.
