Please do not tell me this is the future of mankind, because if it is I’m glad I won’t be around for the finished product. For decades, homecoming events stuck to historical and scientific definitions of male and female, and of king and queen. In other words, students understood that, “king” is masculine connotation, and “queen” is feminine connotation. How can it be considered that no one was all inclusive, when everyone was? Because a male wants to wear a dress and be the queen and visa versa all the angels are covered? We all know this is not a normal thought process, in fact it contributes the the mental disorder know as transsexuality. What parent let’s their child tell them this is what they want, but if they pick up a cigarette, there would be hell to pay?
Like the president of the Student Government Association Jacob Rains said, “It provides an opportunity for all students to be involved in something that was exclusionary.” “It is really not our job, especially with a gender-neutral and transgender population at B-CC, to tell people that boys have to be kings and girls have to be queens,” Rains admonished. “Who are we to put people into those categories?”
This is the new logic of political correctness, and for all intent it is completely wrong. We were never meant to fool with nature, and this is about as dysfunctional as can be interpreted. Because there is a surgeon who can alter a person’s appearance does not make them what they look like. The feminization of the American male has been a priority of the Feminist movement and now seems to be bearing fruit it all the twisted ways possible. What do you think?
