Usually, Barack Obama can’t wait to stand upon the dead when “mass shootings” occur, using them as a means to push for more gun control. However, he’s not tearfully taking to the podium as gun violence takes countless lives all over one city recently. Instead, he wants the media to remain silent about the issue.

Over the past week, Chicago, Illinois has seen frigid weather conditions, but that hasn’t stopped the number of shootings that have taken place. In fact, the recorded shootings are actually elevated compared to previous years.
According to Breitbart, approximately 22 people were wounded and another 7 were killed as a result of senseless gang-related violence over the past weekend. It has been reported that 13 of the shootings took place on Friday evening, eight more each took place on Saturday and Sunday. However, that’s not all. Apparently, another three were killed and six more were wounded on the evening of Wednesday, January 13.
