A Mexican politician makes a daring move – he climbed the Mexico/US border to openly protest how “unnecessary” and “absurd” Trump’s plan is for the wall. Is it just me, or does this seem kind of contradicting? Let me get this straight: Trump wants to build a wall to keep these people out of our country. This man thinks he makes a strong argument against the need by showing how easily you can get up and over the wall? How does this make sense? Maybe this is why Mexico is in such bad shape – because people like this run it.

Mexican politician climbs border fence, declares Trump’s wall ‘totally absurd’
A Mexican politician tweeted pictures earlier this week of himself atop an existing fence on the border between the United States and Mexico to protest President Donald Trump’s proposal to construct a wall along the entire border between the two countries.
According to ABC News, Braulio Guerra, a congressman from the state of Queretaro, scaled the structure and tweeted a video of himself calling Trump’s proposed wall “unnecessary” and “totally absurd.”
Guerra said people such as himself can easily climb the existing barrier that separates the Mexican city of Tijuana from the United States, rendering such walls useless.
“You can climb it with great ease, one climbs in an instant,” Guerra said in the video, according to ABC’s translation. “I climbed it in Tijuana, one of the highest parts, even from a distance this looks very complex, but there are young people that go up and down, at all times.”
“I was able to scale it, climb it, and sit myself right here,” Guerra continued. “It would be simple for me to jump into the United States, which shows that it is unnecessary and totally absurd to build a wall.”
“It’s easy, and it shows how unnecessary this project, this political rhetoric from Donald Trump, is,” he said.
As a presidential candidate, Trump frequently vowed to build a wall along the entire southern border and that Mexico would pay for its construction. After he took the oath of office in January, Trump signed an executive order authorizing the construction of the wall.
