Minneapolis: Black BLM Protestors Claim White Supremacist Retaliation In Shooting

Black Lives Matter is seeing retaliation from what some are saying are “white supremacists.” In Minneapolis police are looking for two of the three white suspects who shot five blacks in a BLM protest.

CrimeFeed.com: Five people protesting the recent police killing of Jamar Clark were shot by three white suspects in Minneapolis on Monday night. Some witnesses said the suspects were part of a group of white supremacists there to counter-demonstrate, but the police has not corroborated those statements. The shooting took place about a block away from the fourth precinct.

According to the Washington Post, the five injured protesters suffered “non-life-threatening” gunshot wounds. The police are still searching for two of the three suspects, who took off immediately following the incident. They were reportedly wearing ski masks and were seen by witnesses filming the event. One 23-year-old man has been arrested today in connection with the shooting.

One of the white protesters who had been with us since the beginning said, ‘Be careful, those guys are white supremacists,” one witness told The Washington Post. The shooting reportedly occurred as BLM protesters tried to herd the group of counter-demonstrators away from the crowd; the suspects then opened fire.

The same witness said she hear about 15 shots before seeing “four boys on the ground.”

Tonight, white supremacists attacked the #‎4thPrecinctShutDown in an act of domestic terrorism. We won’t be intimidated,” Black Lives Matter Minneapolis said in a statement on Facebook.
