I think we all can agree that we enjoy having a cocktail or two responsibly. As responsible adults, we also know not to drink drive or become intoxicated and drive drunk with children in our care. Well, one Florida mother has found herself in serious hot water after what she had her son do after she went drinking.

April King, 35, was caught on an officer’s body camera having their oldest child blow into a breathalyzer to start the car. King had her children with her, ages 2 and 4, but left them in the car when she visited Froggers Grill and Bar in Apopka last Sunday.

When King left the bar she then enlisted the help of her oldest child by having him blow into the cars breathalyzer system in order to start the vehicle.  The breathalyzer was installed in the car by her husband Doug King after being recently released from an alcohol and drug rehab program for her apparent drinking problem.

Thankfully the bar manager alerted authorities after noticing that the beer chugging mother had a child in the car. “I have a lady that just came in and sat down at my bar and her kid’s in the car with the A/C running,” the manager told 911. “He looks like he’s about 2 or 3 years old.

After the police arrived they arrested the “mother of the year” immediately but do expect her husband, Doug to be bailing her out of jail anytime soon.

“My son just turned 4 years old and the fact that he learned how to do that, I don’t put the intelligence behind him one bit but to learn to hum and blow at the same time, it was a surprise to me,” said Doug, adding that he’s taking the kids and moving back to Oklahoma.

This just baffles my mind that a woman can be so negligent as a mother. She does not deserve to have custody of those children whatsoever for a very long time. Thank goodness they manager of the bar saw what was happening and alerted the authorities right away. I hate to think what would happen if she was able to drive with those little ones in the car with her.

What punishment is good enough for this idiot?
