Mother and Son Fall in Love, face Prison
Nineteen years ago, Monica Mares, 36, gave birth to a son that she gave up for adoption. Last year she met her son, Caleb Peterson for the first time and after a couple of weeks, the two were having intimate relations. Law enforcement found out about the relationship and are prosecuting the couple, who have been ordered not to see each other. They both are facing 18 months in prison. Even so, they swear that they plan on remaining a couple and having sex. They are asking for donations so that they can afford legal representation. They are claiming GSA. (Genetic Sexual Attraction)

GSA is defined as sexual attraction between close relatives, such as siblings or half-siblings, a parent and offspring, or first and second cousins, who first meet as adults.
Mares said: ‘He is the love of my life and I don’t want to lose him.My kids love him, my whole family does. Nothing can come between us not courts, or jail, nothing.
‘I have to be with him. When I get out of prison I will move out of Clovis to a state that allows us to be together.’
Incest is a crime in all 50 states, but the specifics of the laws and punishment vary greatly from state to state.
Mother-of-nine Mares said she would even give up the right to see her other children if she was asked to choose between them and her lover.
Mares is the mother of nine and if convicted and sent to prison, she will likely lose them all, but she is quick to add that she’d be willing to give them all up to remain lovers with her son. (Someone quick….Nominate her for the Mother of the Year. If Obama deserved a Nobel Prize, why can’t she be mom of the year?)
