North Carolina is a fairly liberal state in my humble opinion. That being said, the NCAA, being part of  the Obama Administration, and leadership not wanting to make waves with said leadership, are putting the squeeze on the Tar Heel State. The NCAA has no back bone, besides who wants to lose such a position and pay check? So the powers that be will make the adjustments to scheduled events in North Carolina. They must be moved because North Carolina chooses common sense.

According to Sportingnews: 

The NCAA Board of Governors declared HB2 limits civil rights protections and does not promote an inclusive atmosphere for all college athletes, coaches, administrators and fans.”Fairness is about more than the opportunity to participate in college sports, or even compete for championships,” NCAA president Mark Emmert said. “We believe in providing a safe and respectful environment at our events and are committed to providing the best experience possible for college athletes, fans and everyone taking part in our championships.”

So do you think the “War for Southern Independence”(Civil War to those indoctrinated in public school)was fought over slavery? There is no republic, there is only an oligarchy in Washington D.C. and you better follow suit or you will suffer the wrath of the ruling class. To think North Carolina wants girls to use girls rooms and boys to use boys rooms , and that is against the law? I stand with North Carolina, if this is what the State wants, so be it, people can move to another or follow suit, real simple. Enjoy your tournaments NCAA, I won’t be watching. What do you think?
