Merrick Garland, Obama’s pick to replace Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court told Congress what he considers his most important decisions on the bench are and in the process made a liar out of Obama. Obama has repeated the lie many times that Garland is a moderate judge. That might actually be true. Stalin might look like a moderate to Attila the Hun. To hear Garland describe the accomplishments he is most proud of, it brings to mind Ginsburg, Sotomayor and Kagan.
Garland listed decisions involving union and labor rights, environmental cases, endangered species (toad) and releasing a drug dealer. He also sided with a prisoner at Gitmo that claimed that even though he was captured on the battlefield, he was not an enemy combatant.
This shows you how dangerous the RINOs who are pushing for a vote on Merrick are. Even conservative (Or at least alleged conservative) pundits have been pushing for the republicans to confirm Garland, like Glenn Beck , who claim that since it’s impossible for Trump to win, Garland would be better than anyone Clinton would nominate. Considering how many predictions Beck has made that are not only wrong but laughable, don’t buy the hype.
Whenever far left sources like Salon and Think Progress (George Soros) agree with people like Mark Kirk and Glenn Beck, you know we are heading for disaster. Now, we have proof of exactly who Merrick Garland is and we have to hope that Mitch McConnell keeps his word for once. Otherwise, the Supreme Court will be anti-American for many years to come.
