Heritage over hate, what is the problem here? No matter what political correctness deems correct, it cannot whitewash the history of this country. This was all laid to rest years ago until certain people figured out there was money to be made in “racism”.
Now over the last 8 years with our first minority president, it is back to the days of Reconstruction. People can walk the streets with ISIS flags, Palestinian, Iraqi, you name it, but the state flag of Mississippi?
Mississippi State flags, ‘Let the Band Play Dixie’ posters, and stickers resembling the Mississippi State flag are increasingly being seen on campus in protest against the University’s October 26th, 2015 decision to remove the Mississippi State Flag from campus as well as the school’s decision to have the school marching band no longer play ‘Dixie.’
People in high places are so scared of the media backlash that they will do anything including giving up their heritage to stay safe. Where is the American spirit of the past? It founded this country and built it to greatness.
Now we have great Southern Institutions with great history run by progressives who are scared to display and honor of our forefathers, because of a few black racists, who have been given the power to condemn and hold hostage a voting block for the status quo in Washington.
