Concerns about Joe Biden’s age have been in the news since he launched his presidential run in 2019, to the point where mentioning his age has become trite.
However, a recent report has emerged that once again demonstrates how critical this issue is in the 2024 election.
On Tuesday, Biden announced his intention to compete for re-election to the presidency, prompting many to question if he possessed the mental fortitude and aptitude to lead the country for another four years.
Three days after the announcement, Axios published a piece regarding Biden’s work schedule, and let’s just say it’s not what we’d expect from the president.
According to the source, White House staffers have noted that arranging public or private events for Biden in the mornings, nights, and on weekends is extremely tough. On weekdays, he has the majority of his obligations between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

According to the study, since the beginning of 2023, Biden has only had four public activities before 10 a.m. and 12 events, mostly dinners or receptions, after 6 p.m.
In response to the Axios revelation, the New York Post stated that this means Biden works only 30 hours per week on average, which is 10 hours less than the typical American and even less than the 35-hour work week in France.
This isn’t the first time Biden’s short work week has made the news.
Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said last month that Biden accomplishes “nothing” at 9 a.m., alleging that he is a “night owl,” despite reports that he finishes work at 7 p.m.
Not only does Biden work fewer hours than the average American, but as President, he also makes far more, with an annual income of roughly $400,000, more than six times the national average of $58,563.
One could argue that a person can earn such a wage by excelling at an extremely difficult or elite job, such as becoming a professional athlete or a rocket scientist. However, this assumes that 1) the person is working and 2) the person is performing well.
The truth is that Biden is neither working hard nor doing the job for which he was elected.
The presidency is a unique position that necessitates being available to respond to circumstances and emergencies at all hours of the day and night. The President has no “business hours”; the president is always on the job — or should be.
Biden does not appear to be capable of doing the bare minimum for his job. Instead, his age appears to hinder him from undertaking difficult labor, implying that he works as little as possible.
When Biden does work, he is not doing it well. The Biden administration has been a series of humiliating failures, both at home and abroad.

In the view of the rest of the world, particularly our opponents, Biden is a weakling and a joke whom other countries do not take seriously. This is doing enormous damage to America’s credibility.
Now, Biden wants to be re-elected in 2024, despite the fact that it is becoming increasingly clear that he simply does not cut it.
He certainly isn’t up to the task.
Biden and the Democrats may not want age to be a factor in the next presidential race, but as long as additional troubling revelations emerge, age will be a major factor in 2024.
