A Patriots fan reportedly, and for that matter visually, brought a Colin Kaepernick jersey to Gillette Stadium just so he could stand on top of it during the national anthem. It seems the protest of the anthem by oppressed rich black athletes is still rubbing white middle-class fans who buy the tickets the wrong way.
An unidentified Patriots fan was more than likely responding defiantly to Kaepernick’s decision to kneel during the national anthem in protest of what he called “oppression” of black people in the United States. Other NFL players have since joined the San Francisco 49ers backup quarterback in the controversial protest.
Kaepernick wasn’t around to see the man stomping all over his jersey as he was in California watching his team take on the Dallas Cowboys from the sidelines. However, he and two of his teammates continued his tradition of kneeling in protest.
Americans are sick and tired of seeing this entitled athletes kneeling and disrespecting our country. This man decided to show his disrespect right back, and it is exactly what they Kaepernick deserved.
My question to the protesting athletes is this, the impact of your protest for the most part, has reached it’s high water mark. What now will you do to help make it better? My suggestion to you is, why don’t you use your voice to educate the youngsters on going to school, study hard, get a part time job, respect your fellow man. Also, help clean up your neighborhood, have a little pride in yourself, and do not fight the law, but respect it.
I wonder if the first minority president writing executive orders at his whim, has possibly given subliminal messages that have led to the point where a person thinks they are above the law because of skin color? It is possible. Why not work together with your fellow citizens? Or do you feel good about yourself, while youngsters carry firearms and deal drugs to their friends?
Living a counter culture in another culture does not seem to be getting anyone anywhere, but a hole six feet deep. What do you think?
