School officials have apologised after claims a teacher forced pupils to walk on their hands until they bled as punishment for skipping class.
The alleged incident came to light after the kids’ parents found photographs of the youngsters’ bleeding palms and asked how they had come to suffer the wounds.
Under questioning from the adults, the children reportedly told how they had been punished by their P.E. teacher after they tried to bunk off.
The teacher in question is said to have made the teenagers walk on their hands for a sustained period in an attempt to instil some discipline.
