I don’t know about you, but I love a quality “feel good” story, and this is what we have here. The disgraced Olympian Ryan Lochte is already on the comeback trail. Pine Bros. Cough Drops, who have been around as long as I can remember, Have signed an advertising contract to boost cough drop sales with the upcoming cold season a mere two months away. America is quite forgiving of its personalities, since it does not have a major impact on their collective lives, but it feels good.

According to Fox News:

Cough drop company Pine Brothers announced the partnership for the Olympic swimmer to appear in commercials and print ads, advertising that its throat drops are “forgiving on your throat.”The company said CEO Rider McDowell reached out to Lochte after last week’s incident, and asked the public to be a little more understanding — and even forgiving — of the American swimmer.

In this day and age where sentences are passed onto criminals at the whim of a judge’s own discretion no matter how heinous the crime, why not forgive and forget an out of control swimmer in Rio make a comeback at his own expense?
