Police Bust Desperate Criminals Ages 5 and 7 For Selling Bootleg Lemonade

A successful police operation in Ottawa Canada was able to avert a full scale SWAT operation when a brave officer apprehended two desperate criminals ages 5 and 7 after they were alerted to their criminal activities by a woman who has no life and feels the need to thwart enterprising children, who just wanted to earn enough money selling lemonade to pay for their summer camp.  Blessed are the busybodies for they shall inherit the Kingdom of Hell.  The girls had managed to earn 52 dollars in just two hours as the roadway had been shut down to motor vehicles and opened to bicycles, rollerbladers and pedestrians.

It’s not that lemonade in itself is so bad in itself but it’s a gateway refreshment and if people are allowed to imbibe it could give way to hot dog treucks and impromptu bake sales.  Oh, the humanity.

The land where the girls set up their stand belongs to the National Capital Commission. (NCC)  According to their rules:

“No person shall sell or offer or expose for sale any drink, goods or wares, or post or display any signs, placards, flags or advertising devices, or solicit subscriptions or contributions on or in any property of the commission without first obtaining permission in writing from the commission to do so.”

Fortunately the police were able to stop their criminal activity before they became totally incorrigible and started selling used cars or life insurance.  Next time you are in Ottawa and see a policeman, make sure you stop them, shake their hand and thank them from keeping the province safe from lemonade.
