Politico announced today that they had fired Julia Ioffe for a tweet she sent out that suggested that either Donald was f***ing Ivanka or he was shirking nepotism laws. Politico contacted the Daily caller the moment they found out about the tweet and informed them that she was dismissed as of immediately. Ioffe was supposed to remain with Politico until January and then she was joining the Atlantic. No word from the Atlantic on their position on the offensive tweet.
Ms Ioffe is a total moron, so let me be the Weapon of mass Instruction. It’s not nepotism unless there is a paycheck involved as anyone familiar with the Bill Clinton years can tell you, he put Hillary in charge of revamping the nation’s healthcare. She failed miserably of course as she always has, but Bill didn’t break any nepotism laws since she was not paid.
The Atlantic announced last week that Ioffe will be joining the publication in January as a foreign policy and U.S. politics reporter. The Atlantic did not return a request for comment by press time. The Daily Caller reached out to Ioffe about the tweet and she said she has no comment and hung up.
Ioffe was presently in the news for a tiff with Melania Trump. The Politico writer faced a barrage of anti-Semitic tweets in April after posting a negative profile of Melania. The incoming first lady responded to the incident by saying Ioffe could have “provoked” the tweets.
