Restaurant Employees Sang “F**k the Police” as Cops Were Dining There

Several police officers were eating in the fast food joint Smithfields Chicken & Barbeque Jones Sausage in Garner, NC, when employees of the restaurant broke out singing “F**k the Police” by the 1980s group N.W.A. (Niggaz Wit Attitudes).  The group include notorious racist Dr Dre and also Ice Cube of Law and Order fame.  The owners of the restaurant apologized to the police and promised that anyone who was singing, including the manager, would be fired for showing disrespect to the officers.

The local police union posted a notice on its Facebook page on Friday ‘thanking’ the Smithfields Chicken & Barbeque Jones Sausage in Garner.

The sarcastic message went on to recognize their ‘class and professionalism as you sang “F*** the police” as my brothers at Raleigh Police Department attempted to eat at your restaurant.’

‘The manager sang along as well. Do you really feel that was appropriate?’ the scathing post continued.

The post went viral. Since it first went up on Friday, it has been liked over 200 times and shared over 2,600 times.

‘F*** the police’ is a protest song written and performed by the popular 1980s rap group N.W.A.

It takes on themes of police brutality and racial profiling, though critics say it incites violence against police officers.
The Facebook post prompted David Harris, the owner of the Garner location, to apologize.

I couldn’t help but wish that these employees would one day need a policeman because they were being robbed or raped.  They call out to an officer for help, who says, “I’d really like to help you but I was just on my way to being f**ked.  Not as f**ked as you are but f**ked just the same.  But alas, 99.993% of police officers would step in and defend them anyway.
