RFK Jr: (Trump) “Could Be the Greatest President in History If He Wanted To.” [VIDEO]
Liberals can’t stand it when anyone says Trump can be a great president. They hate it more when a democrat says it. They hate it even more when a progressive liberal says it. But they absolutely lose their minds when a Kennedy says it. You know Don Lemon hated it as he tried to lead RFK Jr into bad mouthing President Trump.
Lemon brought up comparisons some people have made, comparing Trump to both JFK and RFK. RFK Jr didn’t take the bait. The comparisons didn’t bother him in the least and he told Lemon point blank that Trump could end up being the greatest president ever, even surpassing his quite famous uncle.
From The Conservative Tribune:
Lemon had begun by asking how RFK Jr. felt about comparisons between comparisons between the Trump family and the Kennedys, assuming that he would shoot that line of thinking down.
“Well, I think Donald Trump can be, you know, any kind of president he wants. He’s actually — he has this extraordinary opportunity because he’s coming into office less burdened by obligation than probably any president in our history with the possible exception of Andrew Jackson,” Kennedy said.
“And you know, both of them, Jackson and Trump came in, they were — people were sickened, they were outraged when Jackson came in and they thought it was the end of the world and he became a — unless you were an American-Indian, he became a very good president in defending the country against corporate power and really democratizing America in many ways.”
“(H)e said to Leonardo DiCaprio the other day that he wanted to be the next Teddy Roosevelt, and he can easily do that,” Kennedy continued.
“I just have about 10 seconds here, but do you think the new Kennedys, do you think that’s a fair comparison?” Lemon said, wrapping up.
“Like I said, I think he can be any kind of president he wants. I think he could be the greatest president in history if he wanted to,” RFK Jr. responded.
