A Seal Team was in Afghanistan on August 10th and 11th, to rescue two hostages being held there. They located their target, had the raid all planned out but could not go in without Obama’s go ahead, but the Seals were told Obama was too busy to okay the mission. On those two days, Obama was on the golfcourse in Martha’s Vineyard. He did approve the raid on the 12th, but by that time, the hostages had been moved, just four hours before.
How many times have we heard Obama surrogates argue that although Obama takes a lot of vacations, he is always working and doing what needs to be done? I guess that goes right up there with “If you like your doctor, you can keep him or her.” Or “I will be there to answer the phone at 3 in the morning. Too bad for the Benghazi Four that they called at 5 in the evening. The mission was to save two English teachers, United States citizen Kevin King and Australian citizen Timothy Weeks.

Administration officials have offered additional details citing various layers of bureaucracy, but the mission still failed.
The missions took place Aug. 10 and 11, in Afghanistan, according to Ami Newswire, both days that Obama spent a large part of the day golfing in Martha’s Vineyard.
On August 10, Obama golfed from 10:30 a.m. – 3:19 p.m. at Vineyard Golf Club and on August 11, Obama golfed from 12:57 p.m. – 5:39 p.m at Mink Meadows Golf Course according to White House pool reports.
